For our last night in Vienna, we went over to Heidi and Jason's house so we could have spaghetti with their girls Hope and Katie, and we could visit one more time with David, Melanie and Sandra.
We had the BEST time.
You played in the yard with Katie (who wanted to carry you everywhere even though she probably outweighs you by only five pounds) and Hope, who dressed up for dinner as the red Power Ranger. Hope is a hoot and a half.
After dinner, Heidi suggested that you could take your bath with Hope, which I thought was a great idea. But here's the thing... Hope likes to do a little something called "Popsicle in the Tub." It's pretty self-explanatory, and it's the kind of thing I imagine Elvis used to do in the tub at Graceland. The part I didn't understand is that Hope also likes to DIP her Popsicle in the bath water, so five minutes into your bath, the water was hot pink.
I'm not sure if you and Hope should hang out together - you two have a look about you that suggests that if you were ever left unsupervised, you might overthrow a small government.
Thanks to the Hayes family for such a great night. We can't wait to see you on your next family vacation, when you come to Montana (maybe if we wish hard enough, it will come true).
Love,
Mom
